183/365: The Iris of March

IMG_0736A good, usual sort of day—full of the small satisfactions, like mopping the kitchen floor and picking up infinitesimal pebbles. I am deep in a book on education (crux: character qualities like persistence, optimism, and curiosity are better indicators for success, wealth, and life satisfaction than IQ or academic achievement), which so far is more interesting than helpful… I’m hoping later chapters flesh out the ideas more since right now it reads like a long list of all the educational interventions that totally failed.

Otherwise life is just chugging along.
